JCDecaux NYC

Street Photography for Out-of-Home Advertisement

As a part of Northeastern's Co-op program, I spent July 2022 through December 2022 at JCDecaux North America in their New York City Office. JCDecaux is a leading out-of-home advertising company with almost 1 million advertising panels worldwide. During my time at JCDecaux, I worked with the New York staff photographer to fulfill client photo requests all over NYC.

I was responsible for juggling photo requests with hard deadlines, creating location maps, planning routes for myself, and solo street shooting for a wide variety of clients. Every week, the staff photographer and I would split the shooting and editing work, allowing me to take ownership of my projects. Not only did I organize, shoot, and edit clients’ photos, but I was also responsible for project management. I was in constant communication with the sales team, coordinating deadlines, troubleshooting, and submitting final photos.

LVMH Holiday Campaign

Towards the end of my CO-OP, I had the opportunity to photograph LVMH’s holiday campaign. The final deliverables consisted of forty photos and represented nine brands. It was a great experience, as I worked at a fast pace, dealt with the hard deadlines and high expectations of a luxury goods company, and navigated last minute changes. I also coordinated directly with the EVP of National Sales and was able to take full ownership of the project.
